BIOGRAPHY

Anja started playing guitar in the late 90´s. Soon she joined a band in Uppsala, Sweden, called KJOL,

consisting of five creative girls playing indie-covers and some original material.

2001 - 2003 Anja had a band called REMOTE with her brother MICKE, a drummer and a singer.

They recorded a demo at studio MEGAPHON in Enköping. ZEKE from the studio played bass on the demo.

In 2005 Anja completed the material to her debut CD - LEAVING THE ALLEY OF THE DEAD TREES -

In 2006 it was recorded by PÄR LINDH and ANJA at CRIMSONIC LABEL STUDIO in Frösthult, Enköping.

On the debut album the following fantastic musicians participated PÄR LINDH - Hammond, Mellotron, Grand Piano and more,

WILLIAM KOPECKY - Bass, MAGNUS BRANDELL - Drums, MICKE KVERNPLASSEN - Drums and Backing Vocals.

The release concert in August 2007 was held at KATALIN in Uppsala. ANJA played along with PÄR LINDH, WILLIAM KOPECKY AND

MICKE KVERNPLASSEN as a opening act to PÄR LINDH PROJECT - PLP.

In December 2007 ANJA´s song - I WANT TO STAY - reached number 2 at the Swedish pop radio.

In 2008 ANJA played concerts in Uppsala, Stockholm and Oslo together with PÄR LINDH and MICKE KVERNPLASSEN.

In April 2009 a few songs from ANJA´s CD - LEAVING THE ALLEY OF THE DEAD TREES - was played at

French radio - ABLSOLUTELY LIVE by LUC MARIANNI.

In August 2009 ANJA and PÄR LINDH recorded the song MOUNT EVEREST (original by November).

ANJA played guitar and sang and PÄR played drums and bass and it was released on the 3 CD box set

RÖKSTENEN a tribute to Swedish progressive rock of the 70´s.

The CD was released by the Finnish magazine COLOSSUS and MUSEA records.
